| Paul, you have listed the things that are the biggest parts of the council budgets which aren't necessarily the factors which determine how people decide who to vote for at local elections. The education budget is largely set by a central government funding and social care policy is determined at a national level. Even those without detailed knowledge and experience of these areas would know that it makes almost no difference who controls the local authority to how these services are delivered. |
