| There’s an ongoing ombudsman investigation underway, although there have been the usual attempts to cover up or fudge information. The health and safety assessments in the park were only done because the ombudsman got involved, and even then they were half-baked considering this scheme involves putting a body of water in a public park next to a playground. The person dealing with the ombudsman is ex-local government, very calm and collected and very thorough. It’s been a slow process. He suspects things are being dragged out to avoid findings emerging before the local elections. I wonder why. |
