So he is concerned about issues of safety? * He is not so concerned about the safety of pavements and the dreadful state of them from years of neglected tree maintenance and the complete failure to monitor and act on damage caused by building plant vehicles and delivery HGVs. * Not bothered about the safety of tiny children being encouraged to ride on the road on bikes that are not designed to be road legal. *Not concerned about leaves and street detritus from leaves which are covered in Fox faeces and vomit and bring from other animals and the iressistable urge for small kids to play in piles of them with completely oblivious parents. * Always dismissive of genuine public safety concerns, especially the razor sharp stony topsiol that isn't topsoil at all below the rough grass now seeded in Lammas Park and rendering a vast paying area lethal and unusable for normal activities. * Ignorant and dismissive of the isolation and impediments caused to elderly and dependent residents trapped inside school zones and the glib expectation that aged and limited mobility individuals take up active travel as its "Council Policy" Not even attempting a trial of EV charging that might be safer is clearly because LBE see overpriced and limited charging access as a cash cow so what better than to make it harder for those who use any vehicle. This Councillor and several like him has a complete anti car agenda and is so distanced from reality of ordinary lives other than that of his and his cohorts. How on earth did he ever get elected? He clearly does not do a proper job or experienced much in normal working lives of ordinary people. He has an aversion to being clear about where his true agenda layand whom is main influencers are . But his contempt for local residents who dare to question him is very telling. Sadly, he is just one of several who dominate in this current regime. |
