| Two London MPs were recently suspended from the Labour party for what I felt were, if at all, minor errors. At the last election a strong candidate in Chingford was by-passed by a preferred "parachuted" Labour candidate..vote split and IDS (Conservative) elected. Contrast that with what is happening to AR's case. I have some sympathy because things are very complex now. Many of us feel forced to delegate. Further it has become difficult to judge the quality of those to whom we delegate. Many of us made a mistake some years ago because we seem to have a Council who aren't representing or indeed canvassing our views. |
