Paul is never wrong, even when proven that he is. Still doesn’t explain why able-bodied cyclists need storage for their machines right outside the station. A bit of a walk would do them good. Maybe Paul and his fellow bikies should spend a day getting around in a wheelchair. Then they might start to comprehend the difficulties the genuinely vulnerable have with things in this borough. A very nice lady of my acquaintance spent a long time discussing the layout of the public realm outside Ealing Broadway station. A host of good ideas, all ignored by the patronising council officers. A mark of a civilised society is how it treats the most vulnerable. Ealing and TfL fail miserably. |
