There have been incidences of postal voting fraud, but nothing significant. Indeed electoral fraud is very low in the UK, despite what Farage and co claim.

Where it has happened it gets investigated pretty quickly.

Ironically one individual convicted of electoral fraud is current mayor of Tiwer Hamlets, who was found guilty in a civil case back in 2015, removed from his position and barred from public office for six years. He subsequently stood for election as mayor and was voted back in 2022. Perhaps the problem isn’t so much the people who vote, but the people they vote for.
