It would be a whole lot better if the opposition got out and about and started to be a proper challenger and come up with what they would do. Worst thing about the more barking mad methods of this Council is that they are led on by....a conservative government who feed the cash and policies and then claim it's nothing to do with them and nothing they can do about it. Trouble is a Labour government would be barely any different and the latest idea of running down well kept districts as a solution to levelling up or what will be levelling down  echoes their idea of education which dragged overall standards down rather than dragging the weakest areas up. So we end up with third rate everything but Hey! it's all inclusive. The only guarantee is the super wealthy and the pontificating political classes will be exempt.
