| The farmer who works several of the open fields in Osterley Park..has on occasions chatted with The Avery staff across the boundary line separating his field and the Sultan's garden. I recall a conversation suggesting the Sultan had dozens and dozens of staff and security people..to keep people like me at bay! But it didn't stop scrap metal collectors once stealing some of his double-gates facing Windmill Road. Did you read that the Sultan owns 600 Rolls Royces...and dozens of other cars.. whilst a lot of Ealing Residents have to drive around in old bangers! |
