Meanwhile in Hammersmith & Fulham, Jenrick *did* call in a proposal to replace an 18 storey building with a 20 storey one. 80% of the flats would have been social rent with the remaining being intermediate rent. The development had been approved by H&F but the Conservative MP, Greg Hands, objected to it, saying 'We need more homes - but not more tower blocks - in Fulham' |
