I was reading yesterday that the government might backtrack on Huawei. If they did they want all Huawei equipment removed within three years. However BT and Vodaphone say if they do this it would cause regular two day outages on their networks. The realistic time span would be seven years  they say. Surely building a mast with Huawei equipment is building in future problems. When mobile phones first appeared I remember the papers were full of news saying how we would lead the world in the technology. Well thats another illusion. I know where the yearly world mobile phone exhibition is and its not in this country.
