Rosco, basic managament, if you set down rules and guidelines and you do not follow them your staff or subjects are not motivated to follow them. Simples. Cummings does not follow guidelines, people see this and reason there is no requirement for them to follow the guidelines either. BoJo does not correct or punish his transgressing memeber of staff the people say well if he can do it and BoJo supports him then we can do it. Then there is responsibility, if the leaders cannot take action for their actions or for the actions of their staff then why should people lower down the food chain be required to take responsibility for their own actions? Indeed, if Cummings or BoJo really cannot see that what they have done is wrong they are probably sociapaths or psychopaths and as such should they be anywhere near the 'nuclear button'? |
