Yes as we ease off there will be spikes but of course the track and trace is not working yet and this is the danger. In Portugal which eased recently there have been a few spikes in Lisbon in the poorer areas and also in the cafe areas. So suddenly a spike. given all the things being eased plus the schools going back here i fear for a sudden increase in a couple of weeks. If millions of us were on the phone app and that we had the right infrastructure i would feel more positive. But we still have large numbers becoming infected each day. The death's may be coming down at last but they are a delayed effect. I will be more cautious this coming week |
