As a professional musician he must realise the damage that Brexit will do to the ability of orchestras to recruit, perform overseas or visit this country to perform. Musicians are poorly paid so the ending of free movement will mean that they won't be eligible for any points based exemption and will be under the salary limits that the Home Office considers viable to let them work here. It will also mean that young British musicians will be deprived of the opportunity to tour which he has taken full advantage of in his career. |
