| Other Councils have pavements in a worse state. Cars, delivery vans and lorries, skip lorries and scaffolding lorries driving over the pavement and kerb all take their toll. Many more people are now working using their own work vans. We need fewer cars on the road. There just isn't room for everyone to drive - especially singly - if they really don't need to. Most of us have a choice if only we'd be bothered to do something about it. |
