It really doesn't matter how many lifts are at Ealing Broadway TBH as there is nowhere to set-down a disabled passenger. The forecourt is private property and is strictly enforced. While that stations may be accessible at some future date this is virtually pointless for users of wheelchairs or mobility aids as they simply cannot get near enough the the station in the first place. The hapless Khan has little , if any, influence over the means of access outside the station, that is a matter for individual councils. Ealing does particularly badly (no stations). Hounslow are far from perfect but they have a number of fully accessible stations with set-down points(five) as do Hillingdon (four). |
