Sad news the sudden closure on Friday of a brilliant Fish and Chips restaurant Kerbisher & Malt (opposite Ealing Town Hall) with the best fish in London from this small chain. Was told rent was going up 25% and too much. I hope with the redevelopment of the cinema and other areas independent and small chains will not be forced out with high rents. End result left with the big chains. Sad news as great fish, lovely atmosphere,spotless and closure is our loss. |
