There is another really good football event for children in the area and that is near Osterley tube station. On Friday evenings there is a training programme for the Hanwell Football Club youth and childrens football programmes and teams at the Indian Gymkhana Club. This is an excellent esperience for footballing children and teenagers, though I am not sure at what age they start. There is also the added benefit that you can sit and watch your children play from the upstairs bar and terrace while enjoying a coffee, or a beer, or even a very reasonably priced curry. |
