Each to their own of course, but the service and food that I have had in the New Inn are both great, and I have been using the pub regulary since 2004. They are not the cheapest in town, but then the other brewery owned & managed pubs in the area have advantages of scale and cheaper supply. Whereas the New Inn, Kings etc. are tenanted and run by a comparatively tiny independent company. And this of course at a time when so many independent pubs are simply going out of business. |
