| Very surprised at the low numbers. I would have thought that far more than seven people would have objected to parking permit charge increases. Does sound like the petitioner didn't do their groundwork and simply 'posted the petition' in the hope that people would visit. Doesn't work that way, you need to promote the cause and that takes legwork (or at least contacting potential 'signers' by e-mail and phone). If you don't do the hard work you end up with .... 7 signaures! |
