The summer starts here as two gardens in Grove Park open their gates to the public this weekend as part of Open Garden Squares. A single ticket gives you access to many of the most beautiful garden squares in London, not usually open to the public, so why not start with one in your local area? Sutton Court, a block of Edwardian mansion flats just off Sutton Court Road in Grove Park W4 (south of the A4), is opening the gates to its private garden for just one day, Saturday 12th June, from 10am until 5pm. Come along and discover the delights of this beautiful communal garden. See how it looked when Sutton Court was first built in archive photos from the early twentieth century, and learn more about the garden, past, present and future. And in the afternoon you can enjoy tea and cakes, all made by residents, which will be served from 2-5 pm. Also, on Sunday 13th, the same ticket will get you into the recently restored Chiswick House walled gardens, open from 10am until 5pm. So if you’d like to enjoy a weekend visiting some of London’s most beautiful garden squares, why not make Sutton Court your first stop on Saturday and buy a weekend ticket from us?
