Dear Natasha This was such a tragic incident, I am really pleased to hear that a trust has been set up in Tommy's name. I am the chair of trustees of a charity based in Northfields in South Ealing, the Log Cabin, which provides inclusive adventure play and respite care for children aged 4 to 15 with special needs from all over Ealing. The children range from those with severe physical disabilities and behavioural problems to those who are simply in need for whatever reason, as well as their mainstream peers. We provide an opportunity for them to play and socialise in a safe and caring environment. Our costs are high as many of the children require one-to-one care so we are always looking for funding, both to maintain our regular services and to provide extra treats for the children.
