| It is amazing at the station to think of the hoops people have to go through to drop or pick up from there. For me Bassam, I would vote for you if I was in your area. I have listened to you at meetings and you know what it is to use Public Transport and you are a real local. I might think that Labour nationally has let us down over the Iraq lies and for me the PFI and too close links to the big corporations are not what i want from a labour party. But also for me it is the intergity of individuals that count. That is why as a compromise I supported Steve Pound despite my disgust at certain things the govt did. So keep honest and make it your job to sort out Ealing Broadway. At least as a candidate you will know what services run through the station you are standing on!! unlike some others. It is good that Councillor Taylor at times engages with the public on these forums so that is to his credit to be here. But sometimes on some debates when we need a comment he can be rather silent. Ideally a few independants such as Arthur and Eric would do wonders for Ealing. How about if Labour get into power they make these two fine chaps Mayor at different points so that at least it will bring additional common sense to the administration! |
