You're lucky you got away with it - the collectors obviously didn't know which borough they were in. You need to get your information about what can be recycled from the Council and not from the collectors who are not directly employed by the Council. The Recycling Officers can send information out to newcomers to an area and there is plenty available on the Council website. |
