| So at least say the Audit Commission in their report that was published this week. What is amazing is that some Councils continued to pour money into these banks even after the downgrades by credit agencies and that alone seems to have been the qualification for being judged negligent. It remains to be seen if anyone other than the taxpayer has to meet the consequences of this debacle. |
