| The ground beneath me has been - in no particular order- a Savannah, a temperate rainforest, a permafrost, and indeed anything else you can think of. Twas ever thus from the origins of this planet. To think we can change things is both ignorant and arrogant. What we CAN do is to improve our environment. One upside of the shut down during Covid was the noticeable improvement in the air quality with the lessening of traffic as one example. I shall never ever forget getting off the plane at Xian to see a dirty yellow sky. I felt unhealthy just seeing it. |
