| It's been coming for a while but well under way now and I've not seen it mentioned anywhere? The answer to a slowing economy and this so called Climate "Emergency" is obviously to make getting around harder for the majority. From what I can see preparation is well under way to make the junctions at Churchfield Rd, Elers Road and Lammas Park Gardens one way? Also some nice big pavements to be clogged up with Lime Bikes. If those junctions aren't going to be One Way then they look mighty skinny to me and accidents waiting to happen. I do wonder if the lads doing the work -- who look ever so qualified -- will take the time and attention to not block gullies or drainage runs when doing the work. This of course being one of the sources of "local flooding" (do me a favour) when the table top speed ramps were put in years ago.... the other source being poor sewer maintainence. Should all be finished in time for Christmas - no doubt some cameras to add and some weird rules leading to lots of PCN's |
