I had the ''pleasure'' of coming back to Ealing Broadway on a Central line train this afternoon. There was a young woman talking to a hairdressers about a wig she was having problems with, take my word for the fact that she didn't need a mobile phone as they surely could have heard her miles away without one! There was also a joker on a mobile that shared his conversation with the carriage as he obviously hadn't heard of headphones. All of this helped to take away the sight of a carriage that had been covered internally with broad, colourful marker pens. It may have been a stunt by Jenrick but he hit so many home truths that we have allowed to be commonplace without any intervention! |
