| Is it me or is there confusion in the vaults of the Council. The "20 Minute Neighbourhood Initiative" purports to support local shops and services. A recent Traffic Management Order(TMO) could make such shops less viable by increasing parking charges for those who staff these businesses. The "Our Town" programme purports to put residents at the heart of decision making to improve and maitain the quality of where we live. The TMO author never consulted the "OurTown " team although it might result in considerable damage. You have to ask where does that leave us residents who we were told would be at the heart of decision making? |
