| I didn't apologise for the council or even mention them. It's bizarre how anyone contributing a different perspective or pointing out inaccuracies on this site gets instantly jumped on by you and/or Simon making childish remarks or irrational insults.. A drainage plan in an area identified as at risk from flood sounds completely sensible and unavoidable. The works at the top of the park made a big improvement and residents got used to it. I'd put money on the naysayers actually liking these more recent changes once they are established complete with planting. They stand to make the park a lot more interesting and useful and the biodiversity benefits they will bring will also have positive health impacts. The concern about pollution seems a bit selective. Why not check other water sources in Ealing? Some of harmful pollutants will come from vehicles as surface run off ends up here. This could be improved upon but the people outraged about the pollution are the same people who don't think there is a need to support traffic reducing schemes/active travel improvements, |
