| There’s a massive car park at Ealing Broadway. Always busy. They won’t close it down because the businesses won’t accept that. There’s also plenty of metered car parking in the surrounding roads. At Westfield, which has eclipsed Ealing and other places as a shopping destination, there’s a really enormous car park. Again very busy. Again, it won’t be closed because the businesses won’t accept it. Homer James is just going to have to accept that it’s an important event in ensuring continued retail profitability. As for Brentford FC, has Homer James not bothered to read the very clear explanation provided about football fan habits? Clearly not, but then he’s not know for his exacting mental faculties. Apparently cyclists were supposed to be spending more than anyone else, yet the evidence to support that is non-existent. D’oh! |
