| Raymond, you’ve answered your question in your original post. To be surprised that politicians lie is one thing, but to think that it might only be restricted to the likes of Donald Trump is another. People are slowly waking up to the fact that Labour politicians are in many ways worse than those on the right. That they think they have some moral right to dictate how all and sundry should live their lives, hence the restrictive and autocratic policies introduced locally and, inevitably, nationally. There will be a backlash to all this and it will end badly for plenty of Ealing councillors, as they no longer have big government to blame for their idiotic ways. Maybe they need these basics in Lammas Park for the flood of tears that will arrive in a couple of years. |
