I phoned the Council Parks department about the uneccessary diversion of a footpath through the swamp in Lammas park. They said they did not handle complaints. Thames Water couldn't find it as a site they were working on. I wrote to 4 out of 6 councillors whose wards border the park. After a number of days with neither acknowledgement nor response I sent the email again suggesting that I had fulfilled my side of the bargain by paying my Council Tax and that theirs was to engage with me. I suggested that I would would be prepared to challenge this breach of contract in the courts.
A Ms Nagpal qickly responded by saying she would look at the problem by which time the footpath was being reinstated and the barrier removed.
