The Walpole Park case that Raymond Havelock and Arthur Breens highlighted, as well as others, e.g. Gurnell Swimming Pool and Ealing Town Hall do not make me have much faith in Labour as a party of national government.

Labour run Ealing Council have been authoritarian virtue signlling jobsworths, who are disingenuous. The Labour run council seem to have used the excuse of Tory austerity, as a justification for licking the a**e of the developer guy above them and s****ing on the PEOPLE beneath them. To underline/repeat this in another way - it seems that Labour run Ealing Council, whenever possible, inorder to meet some perceived goal in their deluded heads will brownnose some developer above them. Whilst at the same time being disingenuous to the people of the L.B. of Ealing.
It seems as if the People are beneath them, except perhaps at election time. Getting rid of Planning Notification Letters seems to have been part of this process. Also, they have increasingly restricted people access to Planning Committee agendas at Planning Committee meetings. They seem to have used the Covid outbreak as an excuse to be more authoritarian and restrictive, in general

If this is how Labour run Ealing Council operate locally, I would not want a national government run by the Labour Party and their leader, Sir Starmer with the Lego hair. Also, as mentioned before, Labour have an authoritarian Soviet mindset. It was displayed during the Covid outbreak, when Sir Starmer with the Lego hair and Labour wanted a more authoritarian severe lockdown, suggesting that they do not have much regard for hard won freedoms and democracy. These freedoms were fought for during World War Two. In contrast, Rishi Sunak did not want the severe lockdown that Sir Starmer with the Lego hair wanted. Therefore, Rishi Sunak has more regard and respect for hard won freedoms and democracy, despite his early departure from the quite recent D-Day commemorations.

Based on this, hope against hope, I hope Labour loose the 04/07/2024 General Election, and Rishi Sunak's lot remain in power.
