There are many reasons that this is worrying: the people in the tents need help; there are issues of public/environmental health (where are they defecating and urinating?); it is restricting the full use of the Common for residents for their leisure and wellbeing; concerns for safety by passersby concerned about what is hidden in the tents; it is potentially discriminatory to the Traveller community as they are quickly moved on whilst the tent occupants can stay for months (three so far); the tent problem could escalate - how many tents are too many?, etc. etc. - do add to this list.
