| You may find that the issue you had with Diesel engines will diminish vastly if not disappear altogether when ULEZ has settled in. Certainly the newer Diesel emit far lower levels of particulates (in some cases by a factor of 40) than engines from as recent as 2015. The newest Diesel engine 'scrub' the air and also inject a miniscule amount of Adblue (basically a urea water mix) into the exhaust stream. I empathise about the wine. I enjoy a good Riesling but many were taken off the market because of the injudicious use of sulphites designed to extend storage life. It never caused my asthmatic effects but caused rotten headaches after just one glass. |
