| The rumour is the Council has abandoned the plans to turn Ealing town hall into a boutique hotel and has parted company with its preferred developer, Mastcraft. There will be a debate about it at next Tuesday’s council meeting. However, the council has spent £3million of our money pushing this vanity project and it’s not clear if the £350,000 indemnity promised to Mastcraft if the hotel wasn’t built will be paid. Little wonder there’s no money for services. |
