| It's looking a bit dog eared. St Mary's Square is the actual epicentre of Ealing and it is a patch of overgrown grass and weeds and an upmarket selection of empty beer cans mixed with the usual variety. That little green used to be beautifully kept, the railings always picked out in white and the red telephone box made it the main meeting place for many when we were at school. Every time I pass it on the bus, it reminds me of how smart Ealing used to look. |
