Not all the local Conservative councillors are useless. There are some who do a really excellent job among the timeservers — the group seems to lack effective leadership. The best thing they could do for the people of Ealing affected by LTNs is make it plain to their own party's leadership that policies that they have initiated are doing a great deal of harm. Either Ealing Council are faithfully following national guidelines or they are not. In both cases the situation can only be permanently resolved by central government action. |
