| Better communications from the council would be most welcome. I am not vdry computer literate. At 87 years of age not surprisingI suppose. Please don't call me ageist . Far from it. But ...I received a parking ticket outside my own house. Went down to Perceval House thinking it was perhaps due to the fact that I bought a new car last May. I HAD informed the parking people by telephone first day it was parked. So....nice lady atPerceval House spent over an hour trying to sort out the problem . Transpires that my parking permit expired on 1st. July. I had no idea reminders were no longer sent out. So obviously complacently waiting for one. Sadly I had to pay the fine . Thankfully nice lady renewed my permit while I waited . She also told me that due to so many complaints REMINDERS torenew are going to be sent out in the future. Too late for poor old e on a small pension. Very expensive visit with the fine and parking permit fee. |
