| I agree that schools should be secular in nature. This one does at least have a 'normal' admissions criteria via the local authority route - very unlike its sister school Twyford. As far as the admissions area goes - whilst it is based from St. Peters (and the last place offered went as far as 0.981 miles) the number who cross the north circular will be small compared to the number already from the West side. And there's a pedestrian crossing at Hillcrest Road. I also believe in the comprehensive rather than private route as an important way of mixing people of all backgrounds. And this part of Ealing as pointed out has lots of private schools - but apart from Ellen Wilkinson (which by its nature only caters for half of the children) no state secondary schools. |
