| "Why is it that the present local councillors do not have the decency to participate and show this community that they care?" Actually, in the case of Southall, many councillors simply do not have the ability to represent or participate in council proceedings in any meaningful or effective way. Sad, but that is the reality. Often, those who are articulate, like councillor Anand, simply don't seem to care and don't seem to want to stand up for their ward residents either. |
