Thank you Roy. Next year God willing I will most certainly offer my services. Only Morrisons and my Gp Surgery seemed to be selling poppies this year. I noticed with sadness, that none of the children coming out of Primary Schools and High Schools were wearing poppies this year.
Wonder why ? Always used to be the highlight in November School Assemblies. Minutes Silence too. Has that ceasd as well I wonder ? My students were all so supportive when I was teaching knowing that my father was killed in WW2 , my school bombed out and my street wiped out by mishits for Htfield aerodrome . |
