It is clear from the Council website that the Council DO offer a pre-application advice service as they quote a charge for so doing.

So have they been 'economic with the truth' when responding, with a denial that this service is offered, to Cllr. Dennehy's FOI request?

Phil, the page you quote is for major developments, the more relevant page is:

This clearly shows a charge of £67.60 per hour per building control surveyor for the 'non-existent' service.

If it's £67.60 for a building control surveyor, what is the charge I wonder for the more senior personnel that did attend?
