| Things are moving fast. Helen Harris, Ealing's Director of Legal and Democratic Services, has appointed an out of borough investigator. Ms Fiona Ledden is to be the investigating officer into the complaint I have made against Cllr Bell. Ms Ledden is the Director of Legal and Procurement at the London Borough of Brent. This is a most remarkable development and so quickly. Clearly the need to go outside the borough sends a message that this matter can't be handled internally. What should we as residents think about that? Planning has been a thorny issue for many for a while and the word "corruption" has always been used, I have often ascribed that interpretation to frustration and the combined constant incompetence of the planning department looking deliberate, however, I am now starting to alter that stance, perhaps there is more going on? I wonder. |
