Just a suggestion, but if you can get your hands on a staple gun (good quality one) the seats should have screws holding them in place underneath, just unscrew them, remove the old fabric, leaving all the padding, you may want to add a layer of thin foam, cut your new fabric to the size of the old pieces, stretch it evenly over the seat pads and staple, making sure you do nice hospital corners and don't get tempted to trim excess fabric from the corners, screw back into place, hey presto new seat pads at a fraction of the price, I've done several family members and friends chairs and assure you I cant sew a button on, but I can build flat pack furniture ;)
