| Has anyone noticed that since Labour took control, all Mayors and Deputy Mayors (8 in all) have all been men. Yet they boast that they are the party of gender equality. So much so that nationally Labour is placing 'all women' lists in order, they claim, to encourage more women to get involved in politics. So, what is wrong with Ealing's Labour female councillors??? During the previous conservative administration there have been 3 women Mayors and 3 women Deputy mayors. How long do we have to wait till they catch up and put in practice what they preach? |
