It looks brilliant. Carftsmanship. Quality. I don't care if its Boris Johnson, Ealing Council, or Gaddhafi! It is a long overdue makeover for South Ealing's pavements. They are redoing the pavements - with parking bays- from Popes Lane/Sth Ealing Road Junction (North Side) up to Saint Mary's church with traffic calming on the main road, mini-roundabout outside the Con Club, traffic calming on the side roads including Temple Road, Creighton Road, Durham Road, etc. etc. Oh, and they have put a ban in place on HGVs (big lorries) between Popes Lane/Sth Ealng Road Junction (South Side) down to the A4 on the South Ealing Road which means no juggernauts trying to get on and off the A4 via the South Ealing Road, etc. It looks good and it is already starting to make a very positive difference in the side roads that now have humps.
