I am sorry to disappoint you Marc the council is not refurbishing south ealing. the refurbishment is coertesy of our mayor boris johnson and transport for london who are footing the whole bill. you don't really expect ealing's labout council to spend a bean on south ealing which is a conservative heartland. For decades the wishes of residents like me living on durham road have been ignored by the council in preference for more media worthy areas like southall and greenford. finally the london assembly/tfl/boris and so on ectually listened to the residents of south ealing. Thank boris! |
