| Thanks Eric I don't understand Councillor Reen's comments.He says "The regeneration team at the council have provided the council with a strong lever over how the site may develop as cinema. The purchase of the YMCA building in my view gives Ealing a direct involvement in the development potential of the site." This language is opaque unless saying more to the public will in some way put off the Empire owners, whose stance of saying the purchase does not impact on their plans seems to be in question. As the Council has spent £1.7M of our money,is there any chance of us knowing what is going on? In the unlikely event of the Empire people reading this thread would they stop faffing about. Alternatively Brendon Walsh, go and get an agreement in principle from another group backed by a consortium of banks and serve a CPO. |
