Come on Eric, tell the truth. There is a world of difference between a business you ran and the "business" of running the Greater London Assembly and the London Borough of Ealing. Capital funding from Mayor Boris Johnson is one thing, revenue funding from the local authority is quite another. They have nothing to do with the Labour Council's plans to break their own pre-election pledge, which was to increase the number of park rangers. Come on Eric, be consistent. In one entry you complain about "tarting up" the entrance, in another you talk about "re-modelling" the "park you walk through" The capital budgets for the Northfields Ave scheme are to improve safety on the road not to re-model the park. Part of these improvements might include some changes to the entrance, such as more cycle parking and the widening of the pavements, improvements to the zebra crossing with anti skid. Safety on our roads is important |
